Our Christmas Auction was a success by many standards. 106 invited guests and members attended and shared an afternoon of fun and socializing.

Invitees were asked to bring donations for the Food Bank and the Women’s Safe House.  We were amazed at the generosity of our attendees. We collected 55 kg of food. We also collected 7-8 large boxes of assorted items for the safe house, including socks, mittens, toques, hair products, toothbrushes and paste, crayons, and many other items.

We also raised over $3724 with expenses of $558, netting $3165 for our ongoing support of community organizations. Listed below are a number of the organizations we currently or have recently supported.

Organizations adapt to changes in the community and regulations by government. For those reasons, we are hosting a closed bid auction, instead of a raffle, this year.
