Women of Oliver for Women is an informal non-profit Society of community minded individuals who believe in giving back to the community by working for the betterment of women and families, providing community service and raising funds for worthwhile causes.
WOW has served Oliver for many years after leaving the Soroptimist affiliation.

These vendors, as well as The Okanagan Gleaners, are regular recipients of funds raised through WOW efforts in the community.
WOW is thrilled to present South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation with $500 from money raised within our community to be used to support our community. Entry donations from our 33rd Annual WOW Trade Show, held this year on Saturday, March 28, will be split between SOS Medical Foundation and Desert Sun Wellness.
A year ago, WOW established a Legacy Fund for a bursary for a full-time student, identifying as female, and a single parent with dependents. The first $1000 award will be available in September 2026. Diane Rutledge, WOW Secretary, presents a cheque for $1000 to Alison Gibson, the Dean of Community Engagement & Careers.
